A cont. article by SBF. She covers the Eureka Prairies. Buck's P., Rick's P. ; & unnamed one in N1/2 of Sec 25, T5N, R1W. Ricks P. was originally known as "Big Prairie". It was 1/2 miles south of Eureka. The Ricks claim was located between Bohne & Hodgson Street and F & P per the 1855 map.
