A big forest fire raged out of control north of Trinidad and spread along the RW highway to Abalone Beach and Patricks Pt. Buildings at Abalone Beach were threatened. Spot fires had broken loose near the Edgar Allen Poe Auto Court at Abalone Beach. The fire on the Hammond property at Stone Lagoon and Trinidad area, after having been put under control last week, was again out of control and last night was running along the highway,
