TEXT:
The B.O.S. passed a resolution asking the State Diversion of Highways to suspend further hearings on the proposed 101 freeway that would run from Mad River bridge to a point just north of Trinidad. Alan Hart, District Engr, said the new freeway would consist of 60' foot wide pavement on a 130' foot right of way. The B.O.S. favors Diversion of Highways to move faster in design, obtaining right of way, and getting on towards construction. Alan said it would take 5 years to go through the whole process and get to completion.
