Constr. of a new 4 1/2 inch gas line along OAR for 10.9 miles from Eureka to Arcata has been started. It will serve 325 customers in Arcata. The residents of Arcata have been using butane gas. PG+E purchased the butane system from the Coast Counties and Gas and Electric Company.
