Dayton Murray and Les Pierce told the B.O.S. they may obtain an option on a 58 ac. parcel between the present Murray airport and the NWP RR track. That land is now avail. for $125/ac. A few years ago this parcel was held at $600/ac. With runways 2400' and 2000' long this site is ideal for dev. of an airport. Dayton and Les felt getting an option would hold the property while next fiscal budget is being prepared.
