A deed for 55,173.31 acres in T9, 10, 11 N, RI and 2E and also land in T9N, RIW was conveyed for $455,000. The deed was given by Ed Blyth, President and J. Campbell Penny, Secretary of the Humboldt Redwood Co. limited of Edinburgh, Scotland to the American Lumber Co. of Illinois.
