The lumber is shipped from South Bay to the NWP railroad on company trains. The company's logging camp is about a mile above the mill. The pond is full of logs banded for winter sawing. There are about 80 men in the camp which is run by Joseph Spinney. The company has a monthly payroll of over $10,000.
