$6 million will be spent on improvements to highway 299 between 101 and Redding along 1/3 of its length. Of the $6 M, $3.5 M will be spent between Berry Summit and Willow Creek. Currently at the west end of 299 at 101 a new expressway and interchange is being carried on, cost = $1,300,000.
