The Humboldt Golf & Country Club on Humboldt Hill bought the old original Fields Landing water system from Mrs. Jennine M Fields. That system was in use for nearly 50 yrs. It is fed by nine large springs a short distance north of Fields Landing. The Country Club rebuilt the system - to provide 36,000 gp day.
