Mercer Fraser was the only firm to submit a bid for constr. of the 7.4 miles of the RW Highway from Eureka to Beatrice. One piece involves grading the stretch from the Pine Ranch to Elk River School, thus eliminating the Elk Riv. corner; grading a stretch across the Russ Ranch beyond Willowbrook and a new road base at turns beyond Fields Landing.
