TEXT:
The new bridge over Terwer Creek was named for Perry McBeth. The town of Klamath didn't exist until the bridge was built over the Klamath on 101 in 1927. Prior to that all local goods had to be purchased at Requa. The 1st bridge over the creek was built in 1915 about 1/8th mile from the present bridge. The present site was a site for fording the creek. In 1916 there were only 3 cars in Terwer Valley.
