TEXT:
Dayton Murray and Les Pierce told the Board of Supervisors they may obtain an option on a 58-acre parcel between the present Murray Airport and the North Western Pacific Railroad track. The land is now available for $125/acre. A few years ago this parcel was held at $600/acre. With runways 2400 to 2000 feet long, this site is ideal for development of an airport. Dayton and Les felt getting an option would hold the property while next fiscal budget is being prepared.
