The state of CA has officially approved two dams; one at Coyote Valley that would dam the East Fork of the Russian River; and one on Dry Creek. Their est. cost is $42,560,000. Approval was announced in a letter written by Public Works Director Charles H. Purcell to Major Gen. Lewis A. Pick, Chief Army Engr. in Wash. D.C.
