"Old Timer! Do You Remember When ..." The Devlin Tannery was a going institution at 3rd & L. It stood there for many years, giving off on ador to the neighborhood. Long after it was moved to Arcata, the name Tannery Gulch held to the dip that exists in that port of town. Referring to the previous info on p.10 he states the Summer Street youth gang was called the Rag Alley bunch.
