Another Donation of Old Growth Redwood land along the South Fork Eel is made to the state. Save the Redwoods League is working with the state forestry commission to acquire lands along the South Fork Eel to act as the nucleus for the large state Redwood Park . The BOS recently bought 280 acres of Vance Bottom land for $42,000 & donated it "in trust" to the state. A admin. bldg. will be built on the County's pieces.
