TEXT:
Letter to Eureka City Council by Paul Williamson warning them not to let $15,000 of options expire. He, as a previous R/W agent for the city, secured these options in 1933 & 1934 at the request of Frank Sweasey. Ranchers are angry over damage to their lands due to the diversion of water & intend to file suit as soon as the options expire. He secured options on 3,000 acres of land at $5/acre & those options were only for 5 years. The ranchers contend that salt water has backed up on several farms due to the decrease in flow of the Mad River Damages have occurred.
