Article on the benefits of completing the highway from Red Bluff to the coast. It states it's half completed. J.E. Mitchell has 50 men working on the stretch of state highway through the Trinity Mtns & should reach the S.F. Trinity by the end of the summer. The West end of the new road will connect up to Humboldt County's road system at Low Gap of the Mad River. Luhen the road is completed & opened next year, Humboldt County will need to improve the stretch from Low Gap to the coast. Automobiles will use it only if they can get through it.
