The B.O.S. adopted two resolutions: one was to direct the auditor to include $86,000 in the tax budget for 197-18 and this B.O.S. will levy s sufficient tax rate to raise the same or such other sum as will be necessary for the purpose of purchasing R/W/ for state Highway route across the marsh and 1/2 the cost for the bridge over [Eureka] slough (RW 101 Highway). The second resol. accepted the offer of the state Highway comm. to design and build the bridge over the Eureka Slough on the cut off (RW 101 Highway) and to pay 1/2 the cost of said bridge and irs approaches provided the county pays the balance of said cost to constr said br. and to provide the R/W for the adopted route of the RW Highway between Eur and Arcata (known as the cut-off).
