At about that time the OAR obtained a large rock from the U.S. Army Engineers who were engaged in jetty constr. They placed a bronze marker on it. The rock came from Medicine Rock near Trinidad. Will Speagle has suggested that some plan be outlined whereby the veterans of WWII might have a club house with fireside and cheer.
