The Humboldt County Collection (HCC) Map Collection is housed in six 5-drawer map filing cases located in Special Collections. The geographic scope of the collection is Northwestern California and the arrangement is primarily geographical. The collection has grown over the years with additions from a variety of sources. In 1998 worksheets were made for each item in the collection and in 2011 the bulk of the collection was processed and can be searched on the Cal Poly Humboldt Digital Archive. In searching, choose geographic terms or subject terms, e.g. mining or railroads.
