Hi! I’m Forrest Hughes (they/them), and I’m working towards my Bachelor of Fine Arts with a concentration in painting. Although my main focus is art, history has always been fascinating to me—it’s an incredible experience to work with these artifacts and puzzle pieces of the past together, bit by bit. Referencing historical context in my artistic practice is important to me, and I’m excited to see how that develops after my time in Special Collections.
