Hi, my name is Jorden and I am a Studio Art/Art History and Museum Studies double-major. I am originally from LA county, but I have lived in Humboldt for over 23 years and I am interested in continuing to learn more about the history of this area. As an artist and historian I value context and attribution in the presentation of historical objects and hope to gain better understanding and appreciation for the work involved in cataloging artifacts. In my spare time I like to draw, cook, meditate, go on bike rides, and research things I find interesting. Some topics I am particularly interested in are education reform, criminal and racial justice, indigenous plant species, disability rights, adaptive technology, philosophy, medieval art, textiles, and lots more!
