Hi! I’m a fifth-generation Southern Humboldt resident from Alderpoint, and a graduate student in Applied English. A community journalist and Certified California Naturalist, I’m passionate about local histories of Indigenous and environmental activism, the colonial legacy of the Eel River Canyon railroad, and community-led efforts to restore native habitats and ecologically sustainable forestry and burning practices.
