BOS stanned by proposal by gov. to take 2.1 million acres of Redwood land in Sonoma County, Mendocino County, Humboldt County & Del Norte County. It would be financed by a 60 yr loan to a National Redwood Forest Corp. from a reconstruction finance corp. The Public Affairs Institute supported the proposal.
