County Surveyor George Connors states the Martins Ferry-Bluff creek road, now under construction, will do more for the dev. of the county than any other road now being promoted, with the exception of the Trinity-Humboldt road and the S.F. railroad. Mr. Connors will leave this morning to take a look at the 7 miles of the present survey, on which the road will be built to Orleans Bar. The Martins Ferry -Bluff creek road is 15 miles long and runs from Bald hills to Martins Ferry. Next year the road will be extended 10 miles into the mining regions from Orleans Bar.
